Geethu Mohandas has taken a negative decision in sketching the characters. She creates Kabir all-opposite to her self i.e a woman, a hindu and a lesbian. She potrays Kabir as a Muslim, gay from the native ethnic Lakswadeep. We have to appreciate Jenkins on this as he directed MOONLIGHT (2016) out of his stand itself i.e to make characters out of his self itself, the black community. Whereas Geethu isn't able to visualize the reality but has a subjective point of view on the theme. Personally didnt like the MAKING of the film, even though Cinematography by Rajeev is stunning. The plot doesn't stands on its boat as it jumps from here and there, not trying actually to express what it means. But its a good entry to the Malayalam film industry as such thoughts and critics are evoked among a cliche-feel good movie industry.
