Its enjoyable and some parts are quite funny but despite it being a 16 minute short, I couldn't help but see it as an actual follow-up to the first Megamind, even though we still got to wait for the actual Megamind 2. Although, people say Megamind already had the most "perfect" ending, Despicable Me was at least successful enough to carry on with its popularity thanks to the Minions that were a big part of the franchise. While Megamind is an equal copycat of Despicable Me, it still remains a decent animated film.

I used to love this film when I was younger but looking back at it and all the flaws I never fully understood, all I can say is that this was just a studio's attempt to make all Mike Myer's performances look the same in order to make money for themselves and not let the directors proceed with their creative vision and make a good film. I think its time Myers took to making more serious films.

I could possibly only hope there`ll be a second Chronicle, even though, I`m not familiar with the one we have NOW. I can`t think of any other possibilities of films like this other than...…...Hancock?
