For as long as I can remember, I've been a fan of anything related to Godzilla. As a kid, the guy in the suit was as real as my imagination would take me. Today, I was able to enjoy Godzilla Minus One at my local theater. It was the first time that the human story was not convoluted or cheezy. You actually felt every line of dialog. Every moment Godzilla was on screen, it felt impactful and not visual effects candy. The score was just perfect it was sweeping and epic when it needed and litteraly silence when the scene needed it. I left the theater with my lovely wife in awe of what we just saw and both said to each other that wasn't just a great Godzilla movie. It was a perfect piece of cinema!!
