A fun, ridiculous, and emotional ride from start to finish. Nicholas Hoult’s and Nicolas Cage’s performances were phenomenal, I could write entire individual reviews about each of them. The comedy was golden, the emotions were compelling, and while the gore was sometimes a bit much, I’m shocked to see such poor reviews. My friend and I were either smiling ear to ear or slack jawed the whole time. The movie was also visually appealing, care was put into the sets. I will probably be seeing this in theaters again. I would 1000% recommend this movie to anyone it seems appealing to. NEW FAVORITE!
