William Landay in Defending Jacob set a very high standard for a well-crafted, thought-provoking plot and he set the standard for a thorough, cohesive, and brilliant close. All That Is Mine could have been all that Defending Jacob was. It had all the pieces but lacked satisfaction in the close.
