Honestly a mixed bag. Beautiful graphics, a huge map, a very interesting world that you're dropped into and yet nothing really compelling moving the intro narrative along. Fun combat to a certain extent but the controls are way to jenky for the level of perfection the game demands and the difficulty curve in the last quarter of the game is absolutely insane, even for a soul's game. Still liked it, but my review dropped from a solid 10/10 in the first 20 hours of the game to a lukewarm 3/5 in the last 20 hours. I ended up beating it out of spite, but there was no catharsis by the end it was just tedious. Not sure if I'll bother with a NG+
