No comparison to the original releases of Hercule Poirot adventures! The storyline made no sense and the entire movie was shot in the dark except at the very beginning and the end. IF the intent was to enhance the haunting effects/drama, it failed miserably. Could hardly make out what was going on throughout the movie!!
...and as for portray of the character, Branagh doesn't even come close to Ustinov.
