This was a very interesting book to read about actual battles and people in WWII. The descriptions of the people and events were so vivid, it was almost like watching a movie. The photos included in the book helped in the visualization of events and people also. I highly recommend the book, especially for those whose parents or grandparents fought in either of the World Wars. It will give you a glimpse of some of the things they went through.

It was so refreshing to see a clean romantic story, a story in which the characters had deep love, care and concern for each other. Of course, to keep it from being too sappy, there were some highly dramatic episodes in the show. The subtitles were very readable and were not distracting to the action. I would highly recommend this show.
