I loved get out, so I had high expectations. It was weird which I was expecting, but like I wasn’t even scared really of the antagonist. It seemed like there was just gruesome stuff that didn’t contribute to the plot at all. I kept thinking this has to get better, but it didn’t. I still don’t understand why we had such a backstory on the monkey and all of that. Like what was the point, besides maybe that animals are…unpredictable? Violent? I don’t know. And as it was supposed to get scarier it was so unrealistic it just took me out of it. I tried to like it I really did. But I didn’t and I’m confused 🤔
