I will get the negatives out of the way first and foremost. The load times on this game are almost soul sucking. You will spend half of your gaming waiting impatiently for the next step in whatever you do. Have there been worse? Yes. I just wouldn't expect it from a top tier producer like Bioware. Repetition to perfection is the mantra of Anthem, as you will be exposed to alot of it. The missions are absolute carbon copies of each other, with little variation to them. A very simple wash, rinse, repeat methodology was applied to this one. Now one of my pet peeves, drawn out quest lines. I feel they just did not have a strong story development crew.
I will say this, the world of Anthem is massive and beautiful. Flying through it is amazing and the fun of discovering random events helps keep the game fresh. The combo system let's you feel like you are part of a team, but can lone wolf it if you want. This game has alot of potential, and can be great if the devs really pay attention to the players. I have high hopes for this one, just prepare yourself for the long haul.
