There were some great parts of this book, and the concept it introduces is an interesting one. That being said…the repetitive nature of explaining the scientific principles repeatedly each time a new character is introduced becomes extensive white noise. My least favorite part is the tendency of the main and other characters, presented as strong and rational women, to suddenly act absolutely foolishly and impulsively, and totally out of character. The last few chapters of the book were the most interesting and I wish they had been expanded on as opposed to pages and pages of repeating the same science in the same ways.
