Find your Bible hard to get through, stumbling over all the early English terms and words we don't use today? Get sleepy trying to get to the end of even one chapter? Try this translation...it's the Bible I can't stop reading! Suddenly passages are clear, stories come to life, laws and admonitions are understandable, and I find myself drawing closer to God and wanting to share what I'm reading! So far I have bought at least 10 more copies in good-used condition to give to others that want to read their Bibles more but find themselves just plodding through other versions. And they have thanked me joyously after getting started. Clarity means a lot! Yes, I'm used to reading upper-level material for my post-graduate work, but being able to relax in the Word (as it is translated into elementary-level vocabulary) means I read it much more often...and for longer periods. Wish everyone could have one of these!
