I can appreciate it being dark...maybe a little too in your face about it. DC seems to have this indirect statement saying "WE ARE NOT MARVEL", by over exaggerating violent scenes in their series. Overall I like the show and I like the DIVERSITY of actors (especially Star Fire). So far it gets a thumbs up.
