Nostalgic in some parts. Good: - Driving is fun, variety of cars and modifications is similar to other SR games. - Character customization, options and clothing are top notch as usual. - Weapon variety and customisation again are spot on. - World is unique and plenty of things to get distracted by. Bad: - Horrible UI, sellecting skills and perks, leveling up etc are way more complicated than they need to be. - Buggy, though not as bad as on release some are still there. - Bland main hipster characters - Bland antagonists with cheesy dialogue I can only compare to the abomination that was Need for Speed 2015 - Controls are clunky, thank god for aim assist on consoles or you'd never hit a thing, they feel so off when shooting you have to see it for yourself to understand. - Story, I'm sorry but 'making rent' is not a justifiable reason for us to be out here robbing and killing. Its weak. - Graphics while not awful, just seem on par with previous Saints Row games. All in all I'd skip this one and pick up SR3 Remastered if you haven't already.
