interesting atmospheric paranoia tale done as pilot for unsold series. Gerd Oswald was an exceptional director with virtuoso feel for use of light and shadow, some German expressionism at work here.Story has logic flaws and ending seems rushed and not as scary as should be. Monster of the Week is too much like a seat pillow with twitching fringe and growls.Still it has appeal of tapping into paranoia that would dominate the radical 1960s (see john frandovich's paranoia movie trilogy)
