Fantastic book!! Being a lead teacher in an alternative school for high school students who struggle with behavior and having a Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Behavior Disorders, I've reviewed several books for teens that focus on learning resiliency, independence, self-awareness, and empowerment. This is by far, one of the best I've seen. The lessons are powerful, speak to teens at their level, and make each journal entry personal for that student. Additionally, it teaches the importance of self-respect and respect for others without getting "churchy". I just ordered my second copy and hope to talk my school district into purchasing several more.
