Longlegs tried so hard to be an under- your- skin nightmare.
Sadly, it failed.
Credit to Nick Cage in attempting to become a cult figure with this performance.
At no point was it creepy or scary,
The jedi-twist was too obvious.
The acting was fine.
Watch Se7en instead.

Hope the book is better than this awful movie.
The American cop seems to swan around Europe doing whatever he pleases.
I am sure that the various police forces he encounters have been able to solve crimes over the years without his annoying arrogence.
On a positive note, it cured my insomia as I fell asleep before the end.
