This show is very unique and different and something that you wouldn't expect from a Disney Channel original T.V series. The main character, Jessie (Debby Ryan), is from Texas and moves to New York City to pursue her dream in acting. Instead, as soon as she comes to New York, one of the Ross kids, Zuri (Skai Jackson), sees Jessie fall from the cab and then catches her old nanny running away, and then doesn't hesitate at all asking Jessie to be the new nanny. Jessie becomes a nanny to four Ross kids, Emma (Peyton List), Luke (Cameron Boyce), Ravi (Karan Brar), and Zuri Ross (Skai Jackson). While Jessie gets used to the whole nanny thing and living the life at the luxurious Rosses penthouse, she still wants to pursue her acting career and and even though her acting career doesn't work out, she decides to never give up. She has the Ross kids loving and caring for her even though all of them might have their ups and downs. Jessie even becomes friends with the Rosses butler, Bertram (Kevin Chamberlain), even though he can be a bit rude with his jokes at times, they all love each other and stick together no matter what. The show is very funny and unique and real.
