I rarely give reviews, but this is the worse movie I have seen in a long time. I wanted to check it out since James McAvoy has a 2024 version coming out. It starts out okay, but about a half hour in you can see it’s totally unrealistic, in my opinion, and starts to go downhill. The decisions the characters make would never be made unless they are insecure and gullible. At their age, you would think they would have life experience and would have known better. There is no way your fight or flight instinct would not have kicked in. Especially when your child is involved and you are aware of a predator’s intentions. The movie is ridiculous at best.
