I loved it. I read reviews before I bought the ticket, so now I understand the negative feelings other folks are talking about haha but I mean... that was obviously the point of those moments... They were intentionally scripted knowing that they would make the audience uncomfortable. There was so much beauty in the film. The landscape, cast, cinematography, etc. The unsettling scenes brought a profound element of depth.
Isn't the kind of movie for folks looking to just 'catch a flick', but film lovers who appreciate film for the art of it will enjoy. Conservative/conventional-thinking people especially, prepare to have your skin crawl. I on the other hand applaud the director and scriptwriters for even being able to make my skin crawl.
Sometimes a movie's aim is the be memorable. This is one I wont forget. Well done!
