Ive been listening to AC/DC for 30 years now, seen every concert since 1990. I have to say, many tracks on this album have a sound i have not heard from them before. This is a solid entry in their collection. At this point, some fans must REALIZE that the classics like back in black are in the past. Like the star wars franchise, once you have set the bar very high, its nearly impossible to create something as perfect or better as those that came before. And lets face it, most of the members are well in their 70's, we should count ourselvs lucky they still have the passion to pump out songs like these. Money is a far behind issue to them, and the creator of many of the classics some fans try and compare new material to, is sadly no longer with us. So i have to say i thoroughly enjoy these new tracks, lucky to see and hear Angus still able to make us thump our feet to his sounds, hear Briand sounding better than ever after his health issues, Stevie replacing Mal and sounding just as good, Phill back into the fold, Cliff pumping out that bass like he always has. So sit back, stop comparing, and enjoy it for what it is: solid rock n roll like many bands today wish they could make.
