I never heard about this story beforehand. However when I read the summary on it, it really interested me. But to my dismay it was really disappointing to see how they try so hard for the viewer to have sympathy to a criminal . This really disgusted me. Seems like Vivian and Todd was so hypnotize by the Criminal Anna they neglected their family and to this day I am still confuse of why the treated Rachel who was the victim the way they did. And why they felt it was ok for Anna to speak with Todd child giving him advice that might eventually disturb him as a child. Omg , this was the highlight for me and it really turn me off. Here we have this kid both parents fighting and a criminal on the phone telling him, leave them to fight. Disgusting. Though the true story might be interesting, I must say it was a Very poor story portrayal Netflix.
