I never thought I'd say this, Uncharted was better... and, amazingly, my 16, 18, and 19 year-olds agree! Jesus, this movie lumbered on. It drug, and drug, and drug. You just want to slap Robert Pattinson's emo Bruce Wayne. If Ben Affleck was one side of the Bruce Wayne spectrum, Pattinson goes 180° in the opposite direction. Neither is good.
And how much did Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles; Solo) get paid to give us the same 2-4 notes for 2 1/2 of 3 hours? Seriously, it's agonizing.
This is why movies need editing. Remember when you wanted those long Kevin Costner movies to just end, yet stuff just kept getting edited on? Same feeling here.
The acting of the villains and James Gordon, and the cinematography, are about all that save this.
This is akin to The Eternals and, unfortunately, this turns out to be one of those, "If you've seen the trailer, you've seen the movie" films. As my son said, "100% Meh." That's just sad. Just... no.
