This wasn't a perfect movie, but it was inventive. I agree with comments that it felt like a stage play, especially with people walking toward the camera, which was weird. Felt like those scenes in old 3D movies to exploit the "coming right at you!" gimmick.
Some scenes had obvious green screening, which was distracting, and the CGI animals very too uncanny and broke immersion.
But coming in with no expectations, I was intrigued by the premise and thoroughly entertained. Sad in the end but the movie didn't wallow in sadness for the whole length. Well done.
Appreciated that there were no appearances by any of the Avengers or Star Wars characters. I forgot you could make a film that didn't have Disney-owned IP with a themed plastic popcorn contained tie-in.
