So it was a Tuesday night, I was home alone with my cat Cilla, as my partner George was out and I thought, hey what can I watch before the leaders debate on ITV. Well I looked through my box and remembered I had recorded Lost Boys and Fairies from the night before, I do like a 9pm BBC drama, but wasn’t sure about this, but I settled down with a flat white and a Galaxy salted caramel bar and thought, let’s give it a go. I fell in love with Andy and Gabriel, what cracking performances those actors gave. The whole episode was beautifully written and the casting of Jake was perfect. I loved it so much, I ditched the leaders debate and binged watched the next two episodes and I’m not really a binge watcher kind of person. It was a rollercoaster of emotions from laughter to tears, (get the tissues ready, you’ll need them). I totally got the story and I thank Daf James for creating this wonderful drama and the BBC for showing it prime time. Everything about it was class. I could also see how you could explore / develop the story further, but that would be up to the writer to decide. Watch it with your heart and I don’t see how you’ll be disappointed.
