The writing is bad and no research or care was put into the plot. Not a full day passed but some how a missing persons ad was placed in the news paper? Just lazy writing an amber alert would have been more realistic since they were minors. Great talent wasted on poor directing... How is anyone going murder and steal an NSA agents credentials and go unnoticed after a week of unauthorized surveillance. The plot armor is strong.
