Started a little slow, but ep3 was hilarious and dark. Fantastic. It feels like a Wes Anderson joint, except actually good.

The 2nd star is for nostalgia. The show is formulaic and recycles old plotlines that have been played out over the last several decades in low budget westerns and sci-fi shows. All the characters are boring and one dimensional with no actual motivations (or any they have yet to show) and the writing is lazy. I'm waiting for the Spy Kids to show up at some point because that's how the effects look; like a Spy Kids movie. Robert Rodriguez is clearly not very inspired.
