If you are looking for a Souls ish combat system that caters to pvp, this is your game. If you are looking for a Soul game filled with lore and beautiful level design, this is not your game.

Review with minor spoilers. So I played this game up to the very last boss. Unfortunately due to my color blindness I found this particular fight unplayable for me (especially as a melee). I couldn't see him or where he would end up. It was tedious lol. Anyway, I will say the game is a fresh take on a From Soft Dark souls style game. Open world is pretty accurate. Crafting system is cool. The pvp could stand to gain some type of point? They of course tagged invasions to a lore reason but covenants did not make a return to the game. Seemed odd to me. Wish it had more accessibility for people like me. Overall I will say worst from software game for me. That is my opinion ofc. There's a few mechanics in the game that are overused. The damage scaling is ridiculous. It rewards players that use meta high dmg builds and punishes those that want to try unique builds. Story is good though. Bloodborne still holds top spot for me but definitely worth buying and playing for the die hard from software fans who will support them no matter what.
