This movie is Bollywood’s version of beauty without brains. It could have been a masterpiece had the writers paid more attention on the romance and love. The emotions were forced, the acting was sub-par, Varun Dhawan’s accent as a Muslim boy from Lahore is not believable, the motives for violence appear almost comical. It’s a dish with all the right ingredients but the wrong execution and presentation which has ruined the taste. It is at best passable, at worst a waste of time. Skip it in my opinion.
