Matt Roman – Google

Give this show a chance at your own peril. If you do, you will become addicted. You were warned. There are few shows on TV that come to mind that I can rave about, GOT, The Wire, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Mad Men, Band of Brothers and that's about it. This one cracks my top 10 and may be the most original and unique TV series of all time. It takes a few episodes to get hooked, but at the end of the first episode, you know this is no generic superhero movie. It's intelligent, sophisticated and dark.

Watched this movie on Saturday night at the historic Grand Lake Theater. On opening night weekend, the place was filled to maybe 25% capacity. Virtually everyone in the place was a Boomer. No teens. The movie was almost unbearable to watch, especially if you saw the original. The plot was extremely lazy and the editing was not good. Same repetitive stunts/jokes as seen in the first four installments. This movie was so bad, I predict it will be on HBO Max by mid-August.
