I finished this book almost 2 weeks ago and still can't stop thinking about it. City of Thieves had many funny, clever, and beautiful moments balanced with the raw and sometimes brutal plot about endurance, and organic human relationships in times of hardship. After I finished this book I had the rare (and frightening) sense that I would never find another book as good as this one. This is probably one of my most favorite reads all year.
