Nefarious is a movie in which you can not miss a moment of dialogue because of the intensity and depth of a conversation addressing the darkness of the world and the theological implications for an individual and mankind’s very existence. I was glued to my seat the entire viewing and felt Flanery’s performance was such that he radiated evil from his pores; if the Oscar has any significance he should surely be awarded. Both he and Belfi had a chemistry rarely seen on the big screen. For anyone who has an intellectual curiosity about the existence of God, or believes in the possibility of a struggle of the forces of good and evil, Nefarious is a must see.
