This is a great adaptation of Jane Austenโs Persuasion. I love the way Anne constantly looks into the camera. I bet that is much closer to how women actually behaved in that time. Women are not stupid, they never have been. If they were forced to be delicate flowers, so be it. Doesnโt mean they were stupid. I love this rendition.
