I watched the first Spider-Man movie last weekend. It was an absolutely incredible film. I laughed, I cried and it made me feel the way Spider-Man movies use to make me feel when I was a kid. Then we immediately went out and saw the 2nd movie and it made me angry that they didn’t leave the first one as the only installment. The sequel had no plot, the music wasn’t used effectively, the dialogue is not purposefully written and it ends on a cliff hanger after 2 hours which just seems like a money grab at that point. I wanted to love the sequel as much as the first one but it just made me appreciate the first movie that much more.
