I'm thinking the straw thing opens a great opportunity for ingenuity by humans. I remember a time when people thought there should be a better way, they set about to seek a better way. Invent a solution. Sitting back and whining just doesn't interest me. It's not paper or plastic. Can there not be another thing that works? I've used a straw of pasta in a pizza shop. Works well. And disposing of waste responsibily makes sense. Choices/Consequences.
