Visually amazing but bad plot, so many plot holes and things that didn’t make sense. Bad character building and the ending you could see coming literally half way through the movie. The use of Māori culture in the water avatars felt weird and at the end he referred to them as “sea people” hmmm isn’t this avatar?

The first two episodes were mind blowing! Where are they going with this? So intriguing! It shortly went downhill as way over the top, too dramatic, so many plot holes it was frustrating. The ended was so lack luster and depressing. The acting overall was pretty good. I loved Helen and thought Elliot were perfectly suited for their roles. In the future if they were to create more like this… Sometimes less is more! They drew me in in the beginning but it was just way too much and over the top that there were many flaws and pieces that didn’t add up.
