Absolutely shocking. Some good actors struggling with appalling characters. All possible stereotypes shoehorned in; the teenage daughter who wanders off for no apparent reason, the suspicious wife who doesn’t seem to understand her partner’s job despite him being at the top of MI6 for years, the urbane but possibly corrupt senior spy and, the final insult, a main character who wouldn’t hold down a job in a post office let alone military intelligence. The script and delivery is confused and naive with predictable phrases and dialogue simply not coming across as believable. The plot occasionally engages your interest only to twist in a way that neither holds your attention or even makes any sense. I gave up half way through episode 4 because I was shouting at my TV too much. What a waste of money and talent.
