Almost walked out, but for some reason I waited for something profound. It never appeared. My advice is, go to the casino and watch a basketball game. You will have the identical experience. Literally there was no other plot. "Make a bet and like basketball"
I never developed any feelings for the main character, or concern for any participant in the entire play. I wasn't surprised by anything, I wasn't sitting on the edge of my seat in angst. I wasn't irritated or confused. Never mentally stimulate at all. I was simply bored to death, surprised the entire audience didn't fall asleep.
People actually laughed during the dramatic scenes because it was so uncomfortably portrayed. The acting was literally embarrassing at moments. I feel bad for everyone involved in this prooduction. It will not be something they will like to be reminded of.
Wish I could give it .001 Stars! Apparently the authors of this script have not done anything significant in the past. I think the only actor in this entire cast was Kevin Garnett.
My father having owned a movie theater prior to the days of the VCR and DVD, I've literally seen thousands of movies in my lifetime. This wasn't even so bad, that it was good, like The Room starring Tommy Wiseau. It was just simply about as entertaining as being stuck in traffic on 80° sunny day in California on Friday night at 6pm.
