I played the orginal Dead Rising back in 06 and i wasn't really a fan. At the same tho I felt after all these years I didn't properly give it a chance. When hearing about the remaster coming this year I was excited to give it a go again. Even got the deluxe edition and plan on get the physical copy in November. Man, was i wrong not getting into this series sooner! After finally beating it last night, I can confidently say I'm a fan now! I'll admit the difficulty of the orginal turned me away but with the quality of life improvements really saved me a bunch a bunch of time to help keep the story going. Still tho had difficulty throughout the campaign at times but the autosave really came in clutch. Planning on going though a 2nd play through now and I'm excited to how things will play out this time. The DLC skins with the option to play their characters theme throughout the mall was an incredible touch! Loved having the Resident Evil save room theme playing while I had progressed the story. Hoping for a DRDR2 to come eventually 🙏
