Rajamouli is the greatest storyteller of this time in India. As a Telugu viewer, I have to appreciate how he balanced two superstars in a movie with equal importance. First half is pitch perfect with very less flaws. Everything goes amazingly and the internal episode is one of the best. Second half slows the movie a little, but the engaging scenes comes in handy whenever we feel a drag, Overall, you won't be disappointed with watching a 3-hour long movie which feels like 2 movies combined together.
If I have to discuss negatives, one would be the physics and the plausibility of few action scenes. But if you go into a Rajamouli movie, you have to forget that and just enjoy the magnus opus. Next is the Alia's character. For an Indian viewer, we will feel that the character is too small and they casted her just for Hindi audience. Next is the british characters. The English characters are too unidirectional with being totally bad and evil. Portrayed them a pure evil and there's no grey area from their perspective.
