"As the Crow Flies" presents an intriguing plotline, though the narrative execution could have been more polished. One aspect that detracted from the experience was the lack of coherence in certain character actions. For instance, when Asli confronts Lale and the altercation results in injury, it's perplexing that Lale doesn't pursue any course of action. This undermines the portrayal of her as a determined and hardworking individual, as it suggests a lack of accountability. It's disheartening to see such a pivotal character relinquish her hard-earned position without a fight, sending a conflicting message about perseverance and integrity. In essence, the show missed an opportunity to reinforce the values of honesty, fearlessness, and unwavering dedication to one's passions and efforts.
