Very emotional and touching. The struggles that encompass dementia are unlimited. Not only the person with dementia, but the family, friends, and public are shown with displays of compassion, confusion, anger, or pity. Top that off with Maud's 'come and go' memory and frequent intermingling of memory with reality. This was an excellent presentation, Glenda Jackson is cream, but the whole cast is very good at portraying some very difficult interactions.
