I have read many of Grisham’s books and this one is an outlier. Take away the pages and pages devoted to meal menus, plus pages of football details and there’s not much left. Another reviewer wondered who wrote this book. Good question.

Take out the unnecessary swearing and the play would be half as long and twice as funny.
