Well .... you have to have a Polish soul, to truly understand this little and very sensitive novel. I am a Pole on exile since 1986, and this story is personally a very touchy for me.
Even that, I can presume, that any emigrant from any country, could feel the same way as a main character of this novel !!!!
Definitely, I can recommend anybody to read it in any language.!!!!
