Truly a unique and well designed creature, perfect sci-fi horror. With solid storytelling and awesome twists. Every scene just came across so intentional, rare nowadays. Bravo
It had a very cosmic horror feel to it. As a big sci-fi nerd to idea of a cosmic flying manta ray that sometimes keeps its screaming victims alive in its mouth for hours is terrifying. Best part is it that it feels like something that could almost be the product of nature. I mean it doesn't like being looked in the eye. Its like the best secondary trait for something that looks like a UFO, of course it's gonna be hard to look away. It took an animal trainer to pick up on it! Great writing.
Alot a reviews on here seem to be on the edge with the character development, and I can see why. It takes a bit to get used to EM as a character, but I've known people just like her. OJ? OJ got some negative reviews for being bland, but I loved that about his character. Feels like a horse trainer who just watched his dad die. Guys got work to do, loved that. Then he became the coolest brother I've seen on film in some time.
I could go on, wish I watched in theaters. 10/10
