Love this show. I hadn't seen Ben Platt in anything prior to this, so nice surprise to find this very talented young man, along with the rest of a great ensemble cast. Also a very pleasant surprise was Gwyneth Paltrow not making me sick in her role...a bonus! Looking forward to season 2. Upon reading reviews about the subplots, not for nothing but, folks, it's not complicated and am baffled this has confused so many. Subplots make for a much richer story, lots of backstory and foreshadowing. For only an 8 episode season, they covered a lot of ground, and told a better more complete story, because of the subplots. But that's just one viewers opinion.
