This was the biggest disappointment of any game that I have ever played. Dice have completely lost their way when it comes to making Battlefield games. They are trying to copy what’s popular in the gaming world instead of doing what they’re good at. Battlefield 2042 is a sad attempt at capturing the Warzone / Apex Legends type of audience with its new “Specialists.” The tried and true, classic Battlefield class system is gone, and the game is worse because of it. I cannot have fun with this game. I’ve tried, but I am disappointed at the end of every single one of my Battlefield 2042 sessions.
