As someone who has been in a predatory relationship with my teacher at the same age as Eric Walker (17) This show has really help me come to terms with what happened to me I was groomed. It’s helped me know that what happened wasn’t my fault and I wasn’t responsible for his actions. It was really hitting close to home because the events in the show were very similar to what happened in my real life all the way up to the “backseat”. Except I never told anyone until after I graduated in high school. I love the way they ended with Eric saying what he needed to and leaving her speechless as he walked away. Thank you for not romanticizing this predatory relationship and leaving support at the end of each episode. 11/10 rating from a survivor
