One of the finest casts ever assembled for any movie. The movie managed to be entertaining while also illiciting complex emotions that are all too familiar.

I was so happy that we got a clear winner before the titular characters teamed up to take down Mechagodzilla. Kongs mobility, reach and opposable thumbs definitely created matchup problems for Godzilla but in the end Godzilla was just too powerful and indestructible for Kong.
