This film is a wonderful lesson in why it's important to respect mental health. You never know what can happen to a person when they've sustained a TBI. The main character was abused by everyone since he was a child. He only wanted to be loved and appreciated for who he was. He finally had enough and decided to let go of rational thought. Teaching others to be kind to those who are different is a valuable lesson. I think the way this film makes the viewer connect to the emotions of Joker is AMAZING. Never would I have thought I'd give sympathy to a super villain. However, the reason why he turned out that way was absolutely the product of physical abuse and the failure of society.
